Veterinarian Customer Service Rep

Job Summary:
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our veterinary team, while helping to maintain a positive and efficient clinic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival.
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar.
  • Check clients in and out, process payments, and handle basic billing.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
  • Communicate with clients about their pet’s care and next steps.
  • Provide support to veterinary staff as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable handling pets and speaking with owners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with veterinary software is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
